† How were you introduced to the art of “cute cooking”?
I probably first discovered cute pastries and cakes at local Japanese and Chinese bakeries. Whether a small, sweet bread shaped like Hello Kitty or a giant Panda cake, thankfully these creations are often too cute to eat or else I’d get really fat!

† Where did you find this cute creation?
In London’s Chinatown at Wonderful Patisserie, 45 Gerrard Street, London, W1D 5QQ. www.qype.co.uk/place/222253-Wonderful-Patisserie-London They always have cute cakes in their window and they also sell all sorts of yummy breads, buns and mochi.

† What is it made of? How does it taste?
I’m afraid I only admired these cakes through the window. Gotta watch the waistline!

† Any other comments or tips?
Support your local bakery, especially if they make cute cakes!

  2. totally cute

  3. What type of pans are used for the pig cake if I wanted to make one? I am in the US so I do not have access to a London bakery.
