† Name: Jellycakes
† URL: www.flickr.com/photos/jellycakes
† How were you introduced to the art of “cute cooking”?
I have two small children and always love making their birthday cakes, so last year set up my own small business making children’s cakes, based in London, UK.
† What inspired your cute creation?
It’s based on a Paul Frank character called Clancy.
† How did you make it?

 It’s a basic sponge cake:
250g caster sugar
250g butter
4 eggs
250g self raising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract.

Filled with strawberry jam and buttercream (125g icing sugar + 125g butter) ,
Cut to shape and covered with coloured sugarpaste  (which you can buy ready made here in the UK)

† Any other comments or tips?
What a gorgeous site! Glad to take part.x

If you’re in the UK, you can order your next cute cake from Jellycakes!
