Last fall, I was in Tokyo to work on a new food television program called World’s Weirdest Restaurants. La Carmina & The Pirate, my company provides TV fixing / arranging / local production arrangement, took care of all the 14 Japan episodes. I appear on-screen as the guide for several spooky locations.

We’ve been busy with lots of TV shows! We recently arranged a TV shoot for National Geographic’s TABOO. The program’s been on the air for 10 seasons, and is about extreme cultures/acts worldwide. This Japan episode showcases the bagelhead or donut-head (saline forehead inflation) body modification.
You can see photos of the wild nightlife in my Tokyo Nightlife Guide.
Watch my appearance during the saline forehead injection scene of Fuel’s Strangers in Danger. To learn more about our TV hosting and production coordinating services, check out La Carmina & The Pirates.
