Packaging is what sells a product, right? In a Tokyo supermarket, there is a wide selection of curry – so why not choose the one with your favorite kawaii character’s face on it? Would you pick Hello Kitty, Power Rangers, Anpanman, or Pokemon?

Caramel Corn doesn’t sound very appealing to me… but the winking and lip-licking bags have got my attention!

Ramen chicken flavored snacks? No thanks… not even with a plump-cheeked little boy on the bag.
